Gong Ting Ripe Pu-erh Tea — from Menghai
Description
A deep, grounding tea — warm, smooth, and quietly rich.
This ripe (shu) pu-erh from Menghai offers a full-bodied, rounded character shaped by time and traditional post-fermentation. Aged in warm, humid conditions, it has developed a soft, integrated profile where earthy depth meets subtle notes of wood and dried fruit.
Clean and balanced, with little to no fermentation sharpness, it drinks easily while still carrying the depth of classic pu-erh.
Origin & Character
Sourced from Menghai County in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan — one of the most respected regions for ripe pu-erh.
Produced using traditional wet-piling methods and aged since 2017 in Menghai storage, this tea reflects a mature, well-settled profile. The initial fermentation notes have faded, leaving a smooth, cohesive body with natural warmth and depth.
Flavor Experience
Earthy · Woody · Softly Fruity
